I can’t actually count the number of holidays Orley and her team at Above and Beyond Experiences have planned for me and my family. 

Her endless patience exploring options from unique accommodation that perfectly meets our dreams to transport and tours. The wealth of experience Orley brings to the table is unbeatable making every trip memorable from Villas in Bali, floating hotel in Thailand, to special birthday celebrations in Fiji, and our first ski trip to Japan to name a few. Without exception our holidays have been planned by Orley and her team with attention to detail and personal care.

I guess a truly professional travel agent will shine in situations that are a little more difficult. 

Like the time I was stranded in Bali with my two young daughters when all flights were cancelled due to Volcanic Eruptions. We arrive at the airport about 9pm to fly home to find all flights cancelled, the airport rapidly filling with international travellers trying to work out what to do and where to stay. One phone call to Orley and we were on our way to the Intercontinental no stress, no worry. While we enjoyed a few extra days sunshine Orley managed to get us on a flight out as soon as the volcano risk was cleared, no hanging on the phone to the airline just a few extra days in paradise. 

The peace of mind knowing that Orley and her team at Above and Beyond Experiences are available to help is priceless.

Orley's commitment and dedication to her customers, for us,  dates back to 2010 when she worked her magic to secure our family of 4 a flight home in the middle of the European Air Travel frenzy due to the volcano in Iceland.

Since then, we have used Orley on average once a year to book domestic and international trips.  She is never short of suggestions regarding accommodation, tour ideas or even different flight routing regardless of where in the world we are heading.

Orley Makler has been my wonderfully reliable travel agent for many years and has coped so imaginatively with a variety of requests. However I cannot begin to describe the way she supported me when the pandemic changed overseas travel so drastically and I was in the first wave of 14 day hotel isolation on our return to Perth from what was to have been a long overseas trip by sea. 

Furthermore despite the extreme difficulty of finding airline bookings from Perth which had gone into lockdown, she calmly negotiated my return home with Qantas when many of my fellow passengers had to wait weeks to get home to other States.  My admiration for Orley’s warmth, patience and professionalism is Immense.
